I think the 350 was only in 1958 but I am not sure.
I know a 4bbl version went in a DODGE

One of these days I will also get a 361 casting number (1958 and 1959) so maybe that will tell what the story is.

You could check the bore size just for the heck of it
350=4.06"
361=4.12"

If that block IS 4.06" bore then there are 2 different 350 castings (which is possible)
Maybe your casting number is the LATEST 350s which were later bored out to be 361s(also possible)

  That could be-- the place I said showed that number (i have) as Year: 58 Engine 350 and it said it was a B engine.  So I dunno-- if youve got 2 sources saying the same thing-- go with that.

    I could be wrong-- but through research (i might have researched wrong) but I came up with for 58's the 350 casting number was "1944929".  If im wrong you can bump me over the head LOL.
