I went up to wildcat mopar wrecking yard yesterday and found a straight hood
and passenger door shell. I am going to have them dipped . I called today and its cost is somewhat reasonable. Anyhoo, my concern is what happens to the glues.
I am sure they will melt away . I know our car's hoods used big blobs of glue to keep the sheet metal stuck to the skeleton of the hood. Am I going to be able to reinject something back in there and keep the hood skin flat? I guess I am worried that if you get too much in there it will telegraph a little mountain to the top of the hood.
