Dennis,To the best of my knowledge K-frames were assembled in 4 different plants resulting in small variations. On my '63 Fury when using the Milodon 935 8qt. pan there was a clearance issue at the right front, photo will show contact point. To correct this a notch was cut for the clearance then 3 1/8" gusset plates were welded to the inside frame for strength. Fit, strength and finish came out well. Don't forget if you are using TTI headers to modify the engine mount brackets allowing the engine to move back up to 1/4". This may alone give you clearance with the variations in K-frames. Hope this helps.Nick TiberioFuryUs63On 05/28/2021 5:37 PM dennis.1963ply <dennis....@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:I have a Milodon pan on my 318 Poly and it does not clear the K-Member on the passenger side. Is there any issues with shimming the motor mounts on both sides by about 3/8" or should I notch the K-Member?ThanksDennis C.
