Re: Welcome new member - 1965 Dodge Custom 880

Welcome Richard!

The 62-65 website has selected vendors collected over the years, many that deal with 1962 to 1965 Mopars, including
original upholstery fabric if that is your desire.
The address is: http://www.1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/restoration-sources.html

I earlier posted a reply about 1962 Chrysler that included a link to an article about restoring early '60s Mopar dashes and
sources.

Headers are fine, though a good set of stock Mopar cast iron exhaust manifolds are okay for street in many cases.
Depends on the goals for the car. Street / Show / Race?
There was a nice article in a magazine many years ago that did a bench test on all (most?) years of the factory exhaust
manifolds with flow numbers. Mopar Action magazine I think it was. I don't know if they ever put the article online. Some
factory headers were much more restrictive than others was their conclusion.

Are the headers in the engine now cracked / unusable?

Thanks,
Gary H.
