Mark,
Thanks, those pictures told me everything I wanted to know.
By the way, GREAT looking engine compartment, you have a wonderful looking
car. It would be nice to see a long shot of the entire car when convenient.
Thanks Again

That is sweet. Great car. The small squares on the frame rails, was that to fix the treads for the kframe? My buddy has a car with issues. Chuck Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S7 active, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone

Mark,
Thanks that really helps. I do have another question, what was done in the
engine compartment where the frame can be seen like below the shock towers?
Thanks

Jim J., a member here, posted a picture of the engine bay when he was restoring his 1964. Maybe that will help. (The
photo is small because back in the dial-up Internet days it was necessary to keep the file size small to allow the file to
load.)

Seems I remember hearing, but can't verify, that primer varied depending on the plant where the car was made.
Grey primer was the most used, black primer at the Los Angeles plant.
Thanks,
Gary H.

it really was not like a primer,, in that it was not porous like
primer, but had a slick surface. Other than that it was very similar
in color to a primer.
