Finally , I am back in 62-65 land,

I got it! I bought the 65 coronet 500 I mentioned. It was too clean and solid to pass up, and the guy came down 500 bucks on the price. Nice running, driving 318 poly 2 door hardtop. It must  have been housed most of its life. No rust in any of the usual spots for these cars. I found one nonsensical spot of rust about the size of a postage stamp, next to the license plate inset on the back end. Easy fix. Also came with tons of new parts he had bought and never installed, plus every old part that had ever come off the car right down to the original rims and hubcaps. The best was opening the hood and seeing somebody had installed an old weiand aluminum 4 barrel intake at one time. Of course theres one problem i need to fix. I will make a separate post about that.
