1.) It seems aftermarket to me. Though I suspect the gas tank is original but some person along the way modified it to
use the SW sender. All the original 1962 - 1965 Mopar sending units I've seen have a lock ring that holds the sending
unit in place and the fuel supply comes through the sending unit, not separately.
2) Joe Suchy sells new gas tanks that are made in Canada by the OE manufacturer. (He has the sending unit too, and
probably has the lock ring and pad that goes on top of the gas tank.)
