Re: Are 62 & 64 B-Body Bucket Seats Identical?

As a general rule, the DNA of 1962 and 1963 is a closer match than that of 1962 and 1964. (1964 and 1965 are likewise
closer).

Here is are some general photos. I did not see any really good photos of seats though that showed the whole seat / bacl
& front.

To my eye the seats look similar but not identical. Better photos of original survivor care would help. Maybe someone
here can point out some.

FWIW, I'm not sure what the difference is, but the 1962 1963 and 1964 Plymouth and Dodge "manual seat, track"
bucket seats all have unique part numbers.

Here are some 1963 Sport Fury seats photos to compare to the 1962s.

Hope this get the ball rolling.

Thanks,

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
