Oh yes you do what you want with these cars or any car. Honestly they are rare to see in stock or modified.

While I agree about values of keeping all original I also think you should do as you like. If you own it. Build it your way. Keep the original stuff maybe you put it back maybe not. But enjoy it.

I agree. I have an all numbers matching 64’ Sport Fury, black with red interior. I’ve been tempted to re-power it with something new, but I just can’t ruin an original Mopar

Enzo,
I don't necessarily disagree with your assessment. Just saying that a non-matching, re-painted, engine/trans swap is worth $38,000, then my '64 Sport Fury should fetch $60,000. Original paint, interior, matching numbers 383, 4bbl, 727 with console
shift. Black on Black. Still has the original wheel covers. Had the vehicle for 44 years. Bought it in 1976 in Los Angeles. Bone dry. Hasn't seen rain since I bought it. Once again, a vehicle is only worth what a person is willing to pay. Good look to the
seller!
Take care B body group.
good morning gentlemen
i have to take a little issue with the discussion that the 64 in Hemmings is over priced
as an owner of an early Custom/restomod B Body ,by choice,i know , as most of you do ,that the time + effort and parts that went into the your builds can probably never be compensated properly so i welcome someone raising the bar on
price
as has been mentioned there are not very many around, be they 2 dr o r 4 dr...... in my part of the world ( Ontario Canada) there's maybe a handful of 62-65 B bodies
and I usually just see them at Moparfest..... at any local (hopefully soon ) Cruise nights..... I'm the lone wolf .... but I like that .... we have in our eyes a special vehicle.... so if someone is able to promote it financially
i say all the power to you
have a great day gentlemen and stay safe
Way to much for there restomod.
DJ
It is alot, maybe 25 or 30 I would have to see the bottom though. Its hard to say 62 to 65 mopars are all over the road in price. You will see some questionable deals then you see some expensive stuff. I would have to say 64 dodge and plymouth b bodys
are the most popular and well known out of the group. So they would demand more money. Realistically 2 door 62 to 65 b bodys are kinda on the rare side compared to late 60s mopars. Maybe prices are going up, maybe not.

For what it's worth. Non-matching. I think the price is a little too high. Any responses?
