Gary, the was a seminar at Carlisle two years ago by and auto electronics guy, he uses and demonstrated using potato water. Soak the switch in the potato water and through a chemical reaction the corrosion is gone. He said NAPA sells a commercial equivalent to potato water. The switches weren’t made to last 50 plus years.
