Re: Dash lighting question

Just installed these on my 64’ Sport Fury. I used green LED for turn signals and red for oil pressure warning.

Thanks for the input guys.  I'll definitely be checking out that link.  Wish I could have been taking advantage of some of our warmer than usual weather, but I have basically been under the weather with one thing or another since thanksgiving.  Right now I'm enduring a case of shingles.  Luckily I got the shingles shots last year so I have a mild case.   I am slooowly improving.  Also had a case of bronchitis at the same time which really laid me low.  Oh well I've got nothing but time.

Thanks, Paul L.

While I'm working on my dash and bulkhead connector wiring. I'd like to improve the dash light illumination.  Mine is so poor I can barely read the gauges at night.  I replaced the rheostat a few years ago.  Not sure of the quality as there are dead spots in it while turning it trying to find the best setting.  But have any of you upgraded the dash bulbs?  Are the LED's available.  I plan to check for all of the usual culprits like bad grounds or low voltage etc.  And speaking of voltage, do I remember correctly that the voltage from the dash voltage regulator is 5 volts?
