Just thought I’d mention that there was a factory front sway bar available in 1962. My max wedge car car has it coded on the tag and IBM card so I know it’s original. (Yes kind of an odd option for an intended super stocker). I parted out a 62 Plymouth Indiana State Police squad that had one and eventually I sold that complete assembly to Rick Ehrenberg and it was installed on the 62 Savoy project car at Mopar Action mag. I do have another bar in my stash but unfortunately it is missing some of the mounting parts and they are different from the factory stuff built after ‘65.
