I got the monroe matic blue shocks in front and monroe max air shocks in the back it rides pretty nice even for air shocks in the back. The kybs are great silver is stock replacment and the black ones are performance oriented, stiff as hell. I have monroe sense a tracks on my vet and they are very nice. I dont even know if they make them any more. This is for a truck but I used skyjackers and those just lasted a few years they were junk. Those are probably the only bad ones I ran in to.

KYB has several types. What type of KYB shocks did you install?
