That is the best way!!!   Get their mounts.  We put a 400 big block in a slant 6 car.  74 duster.  .  You will need a torch or cutting ability and a drill.  As they say "some assembly required "!!!!
Or just find a v8 K   but you specifically said /6 K
Have fun. It's not hard if you buy the mouth kit
