Re: rear tire fitment

Short answer is no.

I have 275/60s on my 65 Coronet and can just barely fit my flat fingers in between the tire and the wheel well on the outside, and the tire and the spring on the inside.

does anyone know if 295/65-15 M/T will fit a '64 B body on 8" rims w/ 4.25" BS?  the car has a stock width rear axle housing, unmodified wheel tubs, and rear springs in stock location.
from my initial measurements the tires will just fit, but i was wondering if anyone has them on their car.  a friend of mine has been trying to sell them and is now offering them to me at a great price (free).

thank you,
