Re: 1964 Plymouth Fury 426 Street Wedge 4 speed Convertible

Alan, Odd that your Fury Convertible comes from Missouri, as that is where my 64 Fury Convertible also comes from.  I got it a few years ago and it is still under construction (mainly a few body holes and the driver's wiper pivot rust).  Mine is a 318 Poly which I livened-up with a hotter cam from Gary P and a fresh rebuild.  Sounds great, Runs great, just hate to tackle the rust in the wiper.....

Your price is very reasonable for the car and parts car.  If I didn't have mine already, I would be a buyer.

I just thought I’d throw this out there again to see if there is any interest.
I bought a 1964 Fury 426 Street Wedge 4 Speed convertible last summer. The car is still in the St. Louis area and I was planning on having it and the parts car shipped to my part time home in Canada. I've been having no luck at all finding shipping for two non running that won't cost me a kidney. I had listed this here last winter at a much higher price. I'd really like to get it to someone that can give it the love and respect it deserves.
It is an original 426 Street Wedge car with what appears to be the original engine and transmission and a Sure Grip rear. It’s actually a pretty solid car with repairable floors (I was going to replace them), solid trunk, solid subframe, etc.
Based on unsubstantiated comments by Galen Govier he had never seen a non Sports Fury 426 4 speed convertible before.
The car comes with a really solid 1964 Belvedere parts car (318 auto) that could donate floors and lower rear quarters.
I have the fender tag for the convertible and the SO# on the tag matches the SO# ton the rad support.
This is an extremely rare car that deserves to be back on the road.
Considering the cost for me to ship the two cars back to Canada, I'd be willing to take $8000 for everything. It also comes with an extra 4 speed, and front buckets although I was planning on installing a bench as it was originally equipped with (I do not have a front bench seat). It’s also missing the shifter, air cleaner, and cover plate where the push button for an auto would have been. These were stolen while in storage.
It’s a Chestnut car with copper interior.
The engine and transmission have now been reinstalled for shipping. I have a Missouri title for the convertible, no title for the parts car.
