I just had that "offered" tome and declined to bite.  They wanted me to buy the search and then send it to them before coming to see the car (PA phone number for Ohio car, but that is not a total disqualifier).  I was temped to tell them that I already had a Carfax check, but could smell the scam, and decide it wasn't worth the trouble...

If you ever list a car  on Craigslist  beware of someone claiming great interest in buying your car and asking when they can see it, then asking you to go to a website and submit a title search and email to the interested buyer.

It's a $18.95 scam. Glad I checked for it being a scam before doing it.
