Mine does the same, I have a rubber tube that I attach to the brass tube that sticks up from the carb. I think that goes into the float bowl area, then the rubber tube is attached to a small funnel, I put allitle gas in the tube, 1 oz, or 2.  And a few drops down the carb. Car starts much better. Maybe someone can do a gas test. Figure out how much gas is in carb when full, put aside same amount in a jar under hood so it stays same temp, seeif it evaporates about the same.

It’s not just ethanol gas. All of the new gas evaporates faster. I run only non ethanol gas. My Hemi with the stock mechanical pump fires right up unless it hasn’t run in a week or so. Longer than that and it usually needs some gas poured down the carbs first and it fires right up.
