These are not getting any easier to find, but how "hard to find" is relative to the skill of the parts searcher and how
much willing to pay.
Not all Mopars, but they will "fit" behind any Mopar big block. A difference is before 1966 cables were used to
accomplish shifting. FWIW the 1965 big block TorqueFlite is the rare one. So yes the 1964 TF would "fit" in the 1965
Monaco, but the front driveshaft would need mods and (I guess) custom shift cable lengths.
Prices vary by region. Last I looked a condition unknown TF was around $100 or so.
