Freak accident in March broke my odontoid bone. That bone is what your head pivots on. I could have severed my spinal cord but, didn't. I had to have C-1 and C-2 vertebrae wired together for stability, costing me 50% of head rotation. Man since I retired in 15 I 've been a practice dummy for doctors: left rotator cuff repair, heart ablation, right rotator cuff repair, lower back went out-putting me in the recliner for 6 weeks, total left knee replacement, and now this crap. I already have a plate with 6 screws fusing C-4&C-5&C-6 vertebrae that was installed in 2005. Lucky me! I try to not whine.
