Hi all,
What is a good source for Mopar turquoise engine paint that is correct in color?
The following is posted on the 62-65 Mopar website; the information came from a mail list member:
Regarding Mopar Turqoise engine paint, the Mopar brand rattle can spray paint from Summit and such for the engine
turquoise is way too 'blue' and looks very unoriginal. I got a can from Eastwood and sprayed the manifold and valve
covers with my HLVP spray gun. Much, much better. Eastwood’s Ceramic Engine Paint Quart 1962-1971 BB Chrysler
Turquoise Item number 51622 ZP (Link verified as of September 16, 2010)
The link was http://www.eastwood.com/ew-ceramic-engine-paint-qt-62-71- bb-chry-turqo.html
The above link no longer works and I did not see any 1962 to 1971 big block Chrysler turquoise listed by Eastwood.
Looks like it was discontinued. Boo.
Any leads appreciated.
Thanks,
Gary H.
