Welcome new member - 1964 Dodge 880

Sorry about the handle only. Name here is Norm Palin. Glad to be here. Currently working on my 64 Dodge 880. I was just 4 years old when my parents bought it in 1968. In 1977, the timing chain jumped. While my dad was working to get it started the alternator shorted out against the exhaust manifold. So because of the severe wiring damage my parents replaced the car. My older brother had it for a while, then it ended up at a local salvage yard. I learned of its location a few years ago. Last fall I traded some work to the owner and he towed it to me. I have since been able to get it running. It is in my garage waiting on brakes and wiring repair. I hope to have it drivable by the spring. It very exciting to have a piece of family history in the garage.
