Re: 63 Ply Spt Fury Power window motors

ya , I hear ya . my prob. is one of my back motors doesn't work, other back only goes up with help. 2 fronts work but are slow. So I was hoping to get new or rebuilt ones so I don't have to worry about it. plus car wont be down as long, with just R&R. And I don't think I have the right switches as they seem to be upside down and don't fit quite right. Hoping someone might know where to get NOS or the right ones. Many Thanks, C

It's amazing what some white lithium grease will do. I was hearing some 'scraping" sounds when putting my passenger door window up. Lubed the slides up a little bit and it works like new.

Hi Chris

I also have a '63 SF with electric windows. They too were getting very tired. A couple of years ago, I had a restoration shop put in a new interior and we discussed addressing the windows. He said usually all they need is cleaning and fresh grease. The grease gets old and stiff. He did as he discussed and they all work great now. Good Luck!
