Hi all,
A gent wrote me for advice. Here is his situation:
"My 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury-- I replaced the left rear quarter window because it was scratched badly. I have the shop
manual and followed the adjustment procedures and all goes well until I run the window up and down and the window
lower frame tears the beltline weather strip all to pieces, this has happened twice. When I purchased this car 8 years ago
the window was a problem then, hard to crank up. I replaced the window and lower frame and the crank mechanism.
There is no evidence of any body damage. Any ideas? Is the problem the 'up' stop is out of adjustment causing the
window frame to come against the fuzzy weather strip?"
Thoughts?
Gary H.
