Re: 1964 Plymouth Paint Colors

Gary,

Good idea, we will be back in town next week I'll give you a call.

On a side note I am about ready to have the transmission rebuilt in my 64 Belvedere.  When that is done and I am sure the transmission build is OK the engine comes out for a rebuild with some added hp from your parts.

Take Care
Dennis

I have the paint code for the BMW Bright Red as well if anyone needs it.  Gary H. is correct that you cannot really ascertain the “color” from a photo but Dennis lives near me and when he is in town, could come and see the car in person for inspection.
That is really the best/preferred way to see how a car “wears” a particular color/color combo to know whether you like it enough to get the paint code or chip.

Dennis,

Check out the “white” on my 56 Plymouth, not so bright as to “interfere” with the other color, but a nice deep & mellow white with enough flash to complement another color or stand alone.

I'm looking at paint colors for my 1964 Plymouth Belvedere.  I am considering white but in 1964 the Plymouth white is not really white.

I don't do well just looking at paint chips.  If anyone has a car or truck painted this color I would be interested in your opinion and a picture or two if possible.

If anyone has an actual white color suggestion that I may want to consider in a single stage I would be interested.  I got lost looking at all of the white colors used through the years by Chrysler.

Thanks
Dennis C.
