I don't know when a side view mirror became standard equipment. (1966?) It was a option people had to check on the order form before some date. So, on 1962 - 1963 - 1964 - 1965? B-bodies the factory placed the mirror on the front door. The dealer must have put them on the front fenders and used different mirrors there than what the factory used on the doors. Sound right?
