Chrysler of Canada never called the base series "220", but it did become common amongst Chryco fans and others. Also the "V" on the tail end and the factory letter in the VIN is a "9", for Windsor, Ontario. The spare tire location is correct for a Canadian-built car and the Dart interior and instrument panel is correct for a Canadian-built 1962 Plymouth or Dart. The car also has a "V" on the rear just above the Dodge nameplate - a Canada only item.No photos of under the car, but there are photos of the engine compartment.. The car has a 413 engine - the valve cover decals say so - "Golden Lion 413" - with two 4-bbl carbs. Owner probably found an old Chrysler New Yorker somewhere..Three options not listed - heater/defroster, driver's side outside mirror and the Sportsweep trim. The colour in the sweep was white on all cars except white cars, in which case the sweep colour matched the interior. In this case the sweep colour appears to be Dawn Blue.It is a very late production vehicle, probably the last week VIN ends in 142080, the 42,080th 1962 car off the Windsor line (Valiant, Plymouth, Dart and Chrysler Windsor/Saratoga) of 42,711 built in total for 1962. The VIN begins with a "5" so it is a V8 model but it originally came the either a 313 or 361. The 413 was never offered on a Canadian Chryco prior to 1963. The body tag does not appear in any of the photos but it appears to there - next to the battery tucked up against the inside fender.Vancouver, BC
