Wow thanks Bill – Spot on for the build. I will take a picture of the body tag for you tonight. Except it is a 2 seat wagon – and no passenger mirror (nor holes in the door for one) - at least now. My Grandparents bought it in 1969 so I would think pretty unmolested. But of
course accidents etc could have occurred. On a side note – tried out the modified front bench seat brkts last night in errands to the post and hardware store. OMG – My 6’2” body is liking the 3” extra leg room......... ;

On Behalf Of Bill Watson The broadcast sheet you found was put there when the seats were made by Chrysler's supplier. The Shipping Order Number (SON) was used to identify the car and the parts being assembled. The first section on the broadcast sheet : Shipping Order Number - 07231099 0723 - Scheduled build date - July 23, 1962 (very late production) 1099 - Scheduled daily production number Model - 566 5 - Dodge Dart V8 6 - 330 station wagon 6 - 3-seat wagon Trim - 864 - 86 - Vinyl bench seat 4 - Colour - Grey Paint - WA W - Roof Colour - Polar White A - Body Colour - Flax (pale yellow) Style 28 - 282 - Two Tone Paint Tires : 30 - 7.50x14" Transmission : 342 - A727 Torqueflite For the next section, there are two preprinted numbers in each section - the first two numbers of the sales code. The individual preprinted numbers are for the third digit of the sales code. The numbers printed by the computer in the
bottom section are for the sales codes installed on the car. 321 - Basic Radio Group (codes 351, 361, 385, 451, 481) 351 - Power steering 361 - AM Music Master radio 385 - Heater with Defroster 397 - Assist Handles - exterior - on wagons 412 - Front seat foam cushions 417 - Arm rests - front 418 - Arm rests - rear 422 - Cigar lighter 423 - Back up lights 427 - Dual horns 431 - Glass - all windows tinted 451 - Wheel covers - Deluxe 461 - Ash receiver 481 - Mirror - O/S - left, manual 492 - Mirror - O/S - right, manual 50- - This section is for the engine installed in the car. No code, and the engine is the standard engine, in this case the 318 V8. 611 - Undercoating with insulated hood pad 614 - Replaceable element oil filter The rest are numbers for the bin number of the items installed on the car Hope this makes sense. When you get a chance, would like to see what the body tag looks like. Being a St.Louis tag it would help filling a few holes in my information.
