You have sort of been told correctly, but the advice was not exactly correct. :) 

Details: 

413 would use max wedge color : see the "Need Max Wedge Engine Paint?" discussion at the bottom of this page:

A 1962 361 with dealer-installed 2 inline 4s would have used turquoise engine paint, also discussed at the bottom of
