What a beautiful Coronet! I'm a little confused by your description of your fans. You say you are running a 7 blade mechanical fan with clutch, plus electric fans? Are they pushers on the front of the radiator? When you say at Hwy cruise speed all is cool, it sounds to me like an air flow problem. Could it be (if in fact you are running pushers) that they are blocking air flow at slow speeds? Do you have a shroud on the clutched fan?

PS  I'm running a Wizard cooling radiator with 4 Spal 9" puller fans, 2360 CFM total. I have two of the fans controlled by a temp sensor @ 180 Deg. (Same as thermostat). Two of the fans are on a master switch. My car also has A/C.
Yesterday I ran for about an hour at 65 MPH (early in the day) outside air temp was about 75 Deg. The engine stayed around 165 and the fans never even kicked on!
