--Don suggested a mirror to try to see how and which way it is hooked. I don't have an inspection mirror but I'll be out of town for a week or so and I'll bring one back. I tried getting my small camera in the door but not much room.--

I have not been able to get the rod off of the cylinder?
Per the manual page 23-22 :
(3) Withdraw the cylinder part way out of the door panel with a rotating motion of the lock
cylinder body, disengage the lock cylinder arm from from the link.
This sounds simple but I have not been able to get the rod disengaged from the cylinder.
I'll try again tomorrow but if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.
Thanks
