Bob...there are no hidden VINs on 65 cars. What you will find is the SO (sales order) number, which can be tied to the car only through the build sheet. sO number should be on the rad support, right side, sometimes under the anti-freeze sticker.

Subject: Barracuda VIN

Hi - I realize that this subject has been talked to death by the group for
B-bodies but I need some help.  I am in the middle of a lawsuit regarding a
65 Barracuda with an incorrect 66 VIN plate.  Maine does not have titles for
cars this old and in every respect the car is a 65 except for the VIN plate.


 

My expert witness insists that the hidden VIN for a 65 Barracuda should be
on the upper portion of the driver's side radiator support or the driver's
side rear crossmember.  I found what appears to be a part number on the
radiator support, which appears to be MK 5 11.  Does anyone have any info on
either of these two possible hidden VIN locations for a 65 Barracuda?
