The replacement block I got from Inline Tube looks like it simply splits the front line, and just connects the rear one to the line from the master.  Could plug the rear line outlet on the original and splice the rear line direct ? 
My old master is out, and the new one and new lines will go in next week.  This weekend I will be off to meet my new grandson !!
