I run 40lbs. in mine and the ride is fine.

My wheel/tire combo fits under my fenders fine, but two passengers in the back will make the tires hit the top of the wheel well.  I have air shocks but only need to give it about 2 inches lift over unassisted ride height for proper clearance.  I am running the original springs, which must be sagging at least 2 inches, so I am hoping new springs, or maybe an extra arch will give me enough lift.  I don't think I'm over  50 pounds pressure on the air shocks, and  the ride is not bad.
