I found the message thread you were talking about. It was from Feb 2014. Unfortunately, there was no final answer. I'll copy his last message below, but he never actually reported back with what he found out.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
I've studied *'Group 23'* of the parts manual for 1964, 1965, and 1966
Dodge Darts in detail with hopes of answering the question "will the re-pop
1965-1966 Dart rear glass weatherstrip fit a 1964 Dart?"
*glass:* the rear glass is the same for 1964-1966 Darts. everything from
Hollander to the Dodge Group-23 section all agree. for all three years,
the PN was 2480708 and 2481027 for tinted.
*stainless trim: *for all three years, the stainless trim is identical:
2495279, 2495284-5, and 2495286.
So if the glass and the trim are the same, the only other thing that joins,
contacts, or might other restrict the fit of the weather strip is want
Chrysler called the *"window opening fence"*. This is the sheet metal lip
that the weatherstrip fits to on the body. On a 1964-1966 Dart, this
fence is formed by four parts, all of which are identical for all three
years: the roof 2480704, the dutchman panel 2480705, and two sides pieces,
2480706-7. here is a picture of a right side piece laid over the top of my
car:

So, I can only assume the 1965-1966 weatherstrip fits a 1964. I'll find
out soon enough when I tackle that rust repair. I'll report back to the
list with "real evidence"!!!
