I just acquired a '65 Sport Fury with the 426-S 365 HP/426 CID mill and 4-speed that is almost a dead ringer for the one I had from 1964 to 1967. It's not a show car by any means, but I would like to get it in approximately the same condition the one I had back then was, i.e., a goodlooking street machine (and not a concours restoration). Is there any source that can supply info on the appearance of the engine compartment of the car, particularly the different MoPar stickers and decals pertaining to air cleaner maintenance, antifreeze, etc. I have a '60 SonoRamic Commando (cross-ram) equipped Fury that I was able to get some info on from sources like Gary Goers or the Chrysler 300 Club, but I don't know where to start on this one. I was able to get the "Commando 426" decal for the top of the air cleaner, but I haven't the foggiest about the rest. Incidently, I swear that one I had way back when didn't have a decal on top of the air cleaner, but rather a metal disk with the Commando 426 on it, but you know how it is with us old fudds -- what remember and what was real are often two different things.
Thanks for any help.
Joe
