Though, I don't want to think of how it would have gone down it the truck had hit me in the door. *shudder*When I was 17 years old I was cruising with my buddy one night in my '59 Belvedere. I got T-boned by a guy who ran a stop sign, and got hit right in the drivers door. He was driving a 65 Chevy Impala and was probably doing about 30 mph or so. It collapsed the body right up to the point where it met the frame. In '59 the Plymouth's still had a full frame. It pushed me all the way across the intersection and up against the curb. I ended up in my buddies lap, unhurt.

This morning, a careless driver ran a red light and killed my beloved 300. I got a little concussion, but I am otherwise OK. The car, as you can see, is not. I'm just so sad...
I don't know what the insurance company is going to do about it, but I'm not betting on them fixing it. If anyone has use for a previously great running car for parts, I'd love to see it go to someone who will use it. Right now, I don't know what it's worth, though. I'm in central Wisconsin, but the car is solid, originally from California, I believe.
