Hi guys,

Yes the later model boxes have a larger spline. I seem to remember that pitman arms are available? I swapped a later model into my 66 and used two different arms (welded together!) don't try this a home! I found a arm later that fit but can't remember the details so I think  more research is needed.

all mopar manual boxes are the same, at least on outside, interior ratios, maybe not. The hard thing is the Pitman arm. I want to replace the power system in my barracuda. Some preople say "don't do it".  I want to for header clearance and just to neaten up engine bay, but finding the correct pitman arm seems challenging. Plus its an all new PS system in there, seems a shame to toss it..
