You asked so my 2c is that's a lot of work unless you are a racer who continually swaps out the rear chunk. For most folks, once you get a good set of brake shoes on the rears you'll hardly ever have to take the brake drums off again. It's not like we put 50,000 plus miles a year on these Mopars. Plus it sounds like you already did the conversion that makes drum removal on tapered rear setups simple. So, I vote for inertia. LOL
