check out my timing gear, disasater in the 340 I discovered today, a very bad day by the way.
note scrubbed eccentric grindings in inside of timing case, fuel eccentric rubbing
worn back of cam sprocket and matching "ditch" in front of thrust plate
messed up teeth.
Any ideas what caused this? obviously something was too far forward. Looks like a rebuild in my future.
