Re: 65 Fan Shroud Details



I'm a believer in the shroud. And the 7 blade fan can't hurt, either. I've cooked like you without it and a 4 blade.

Don,

On my 440 Max Wedge, I bought it with no shroud and a 4 blade fan. When the temps got 90+ sitting in traffic the temp would go up. I installed this shroud and a 7 blade non-clutch fan. I never had temps over 200 on the hottest of days sitting in traffic. In fact reeving up the engine drew s much air the temps would go down.

That's a good link. I sent Bill a number of pictures of mine disassembled with a tape measure next to it. The two should help him a lot in his search and installation.

Subject: 65 Fan Shroud Details

I'm looking for some detailed information and pictures of a 65 metal fan shroud. I'm going to Carlisle and want to hunt for one. Problem is I've never seen one in person so I'm not sure exactly what to look for!

Hoping for:
Overall Dimensions
Fan Hole size
Mounting details
Pictures detailing anything that makes the 65 unique
Any other vital tidbits
