Went to the 1966 SS Nationals on Long
Island. What a trip.
Had a chance to buy a 300 F in 1965
for 12 Hundred $, Used Car lot. Probably my first big
mistake ,by taking a pass, in life. Would Of, Could OF,

Watching those latest atom bombs hit the track was a
fantastic experience. I've
always been a 300 nut, and these just followed. I have a
'64 Polara 500, with a
'67 440, 4 spd, 3.91 detroit locker, 3" TTI headers
and exhaust, and Racer Brown
SH25 cam. I would have loved to have back then. --
