Be carefule the sump is further foward than the OEM pan and deeper to the front and rear of the sump. How can they have made so many B-Body Big block cars and not have the correct OEM reproduction ...more

As an example, a 65 B-body is a center sump since the front part us over the k frame and the rear part has to clear the steering cross link bar.

It's actually more in the middle. A "center sump" if you will. I bought pan and sump at the same time time from Mancinis. Turns out my pan is 6 qt. also.

Those must be “easy” to seal oil pans with all one flat surface like a transmission pan. Unlike the oil pans that have 4 piece seals and go around the mains like on a Poly.............
