Re: click click?

Yes after I used the screwdriver trick on the starter relay to get the engine started and shut it off I get the same "click click" when I try to restart with the key. 

I removed and cleaned off the bolts holding down the starter relay; I figured having a good ground is always best to verify. No fix.

I'll clean the connections between the switch and  relay next. 

I do have a spare starter relay that I can try, although I don't know if it is good. It looks good and has "made in USA" stamped on it. :) 

I guess I also can pull off the electrical plug on the ignition switch and spray in some electrical cleaner.
