You could make it do it by running another ground wire from the drivers door switch to the lights you want it to turn on.  Or to the other door switch so you don't have to mess with a lot removing of this and that.  The door switch is just a ground for the lights.

Here is a question to those that have the stock center console. 64 sport fury, 65 satellite. Does this happen to you. When I open my driver door the C pillor  lights come on ONLY. But when I open the passenger door ONLY the console lights come on. I would asume that both lights would come on when either door opened.is this correct. I have looked up the wiring diagram and doesn't show much. John Wask...
