You guys might laugh at this but when I fired up the stroker last year I cobbled together a temporary exhaust to not blow our my neighbors windows. I thought I was just buying some time until I got it running right. Part of my temporary solution was Summit Racing "street & strip race mufflers" which were like $29.95 each. To my surprise, I think they sound great. In fact, I am going to keep them on until they wear out. No, I didn't get paid by Summit Racing to say this...

Just got exhaust done on the Coronet. He installed 2.5" pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo's #17733, and an X-pipe. Anyone had any experience with these mufflers? I'm pretty sure they are the one's TTI sells with their exhaust system kits. Anyway, I gotta say I'm NOT impressed. It's so quiet it sounds stock. My old 2" system with manifolds & cheap turbo mufflers sounded better. I don't know how the X-pipe plays into it (I've never had one on a car) but I'm ready to cut them off the car already and I only got them put on Wednesday.
Any thoughts or comments?
