Nick, yes there was welding involved (brackets to K-member) but you may be able to bolt the brackets by drilling K memeber and threading the holes but I don't think I would recommend that as there is lot of stress on the bar going around corners etc. Can't evaluate as car is not on the road yet but it does fit quite nice, engine runs but it is down the pecking order on projects. Jay, take a look at these pics, borrowed a friends camera. Bracket is still hard to see as the whole K-member is powder coated black. Nico
