Two years ago I bought a new set of springs from a spring shop near Mio for
around $166.00, including shipping. They lifted the rear end 2-3 inches and no
wheel hop, plus the ride was comfortable. Very happy and satisfied with this
shop....I’ll try to hunt up the name and address....Warren

CODE I ordered that same set last year for my '67 Coronet and they were
JUNK. They probably were not heat treated properly. The main leaves have a
reverse arch from the end of the second leaf to the eyelet. I did get rid of the
6" shackles, but the car sits just where it did, way too low. They even have the
"Genuine Mopar Reproduction" or some such cow-flop on the sticker, right over
where it says "Hecho en Mexico". Extra heavy duty my butt.
-- The first time I drove it the car bottomed out and the pinion seal leaks
now, so it's been parked ever since. The dealer, a business friend and customer who made me a smokin' deal, said
"most guys just put on air shocks" and that if I sent them back to him he'd be
stuck with them. The Mopar Performance Happy Line of course just said
"take 'em back to the dealer and they'll replace 'em." So air shocks it
is. Next time, Eaton, thank you very much. Has anybody had better luck?
