--No turning back now - have the engine out to rebuild the bottom end. Had the heads done 2 years ago but still too much blow-by.
Any trick to getting to timing cover off? I removed 3 bolts on one side and 2 on the other. Seems snug with oil pan on yet, pretty encrusted with dirt oil to see what else needs to come off.
Does the dipstick tube stay during a rebuild, if not how do you remove it?
