Hi all,
A fellow is looking to put disk brakes on a 1965 b-body with 15 inch wheels. He wants disk brakes all around. Here is a photo of what is in the Master Power version: http://www.speednik.com/files/2013/06/mp02a.jpg
Has anyone used this Master Power kit? Or used another kit? What complete disk brake kits would you suggest?
Thanks,
Gary H.
The least expensive way by far would be the '73-'76 "A" body disk brake conversion. 11.75" rotors and all factory parts. Will require a little junk yard scrounging but the whole front setup when done will cost less than half of most "kits". Some of the parts like the knuckles and caliper sliders are being repoped too. I'm using the factory parts on my '64 Polara simply because I see no reason to spend the extra money for someone to assemble all the parts for me and call it a Kit. All that said, if you're not into junk yard scrounging, then the Wilwood kit would be my recommendation.
